It is a potpourri of style and influences, shaped by the decades-long marriage of jazz with the tropics and Ryndak's own curious rise to musicianship. Several years ago, the horn lines and the rhythmic cadence found on this album where about as far removed from Rob's life as, say, a monastery is from a jazz club, which is exactly where Ryndak honed the tools of his craft.
