Award winning Roberta Donnay has toured the past ten years promoting her CDs What’s Your Story, Back Before The Why, Bohemian, and soul reverse, which earned her TV and film credits including Nash Bridges, The Young & the Restless, Days of Our Lives, One Life to Live, along with the films Close Encounters and That’s Life.
New CD “WHAT’S YOUR STORY”, a great collection of obscure jazz standards & contemporary & original jazz is just released Produced by legendary jazz producer Orrin Keepnews. And also features jazz heavyweights Eric Reed on piano, Dave Ellis on tenor sax, Gerald Cannon on bass, and Mark Taylor on drums.
Donnay’s fiery style and engaging presence have landed her a feature performance at the Monterey Jazz Festival, The Plush Room, The Jacksonville Jazz Festival and other venues across the US.
“Back Before The Why” was featured Top 12 DIY picks by Performing Songwriter Magazine 2005.
“Crack in the Sidewalk” (Bohemian) was a hit on college and public radio, receiving rotation on 80 stations nationwide.
Donnay’s song, “One World” was adopted as a theme for the United Nations’ 50th Anniversary and is frequently performed throughout five continents as a world peace anthem and as part of several major AIDS benefits.
